Terms & Conditions

1. These terms and conditions (the General Terms) apply to your use of the moving services provided by GoGoX (the GoGoX Moving Services).
(A) GoGoX Moving Services in Hong Kong
2. The GoGoX Moving Services may include, but are not limited to: packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking of items. Details of the GoGoX Moving Services will be set out in a quotation issued to you.
Service Exclusions
3. GoGoX reserves the right to refuse the shipment of any items deemed prohibited or dangerous. Such items include, but are not limited to:
a. asbestos;
b. human remains including ashes;
c. firearms and ammunition;
d. explosives;
e. livestock and/or bloodstock;
f. narcotics;
g. illegal property; and
h. any other items prohibited by the laws of Hong Kong or the destination jurisdiction(s) (for GoGoX Worldwide Relocation Services as defined below).GoGoX
GoGoX may use reasonable discretion to determine if any item poses a risk or hazard and refuse its shipment. If any prohibited or dangerous items are discovered during the moving process, the assigned GoGoX Moving Services operator has the right to remove such items from shipment and cancel the shipment. You are responsible for making alternative shipping arrangements at your own cost and expense. GoGoX shall not be liable for any costs associated with the identification or removal of prohibited or dangerous items from a shipment and reserves the right to claim such costs from you.
Quotation
4. GoGoX will issue a quotation based on the information provided by you.
5. All prices quoted are for reference only and do not constitute a binding offer or agreement. Prices quoted are estimates only and subject to adjustment based on the actual circumstances, including but not limited to the following:
a. if the contents, list of requirements and/or information provided for the purposes of generating the quotation are found to be inaccurate;
b. the GoGoX Moving Services involves moving overweight or fragile items (such as safety deposit boxes or large fish tanks)；
c. the GoGoX Moving Services requires the climbing of staircases (including climbing staircases to reach escalators)；
d. the GoGoX Moving Services requires passing through a platform to the escalator；
e. Parking location is remote (more than 50 meters away from the moving site)；
f. the GoGoX Moving Services involve going up and down slopes;
g. the GoGoX Moving Services involve the assembly and dismantling of furniture; and/or
h. the GoGoX Moving Services involve the removal or dismantling of any large items in order to make room for moving (such as the removal of a door).
6. If items cannot be moved by elevator, GoGoX will charge an extra fee based on the number of flights of stairs climbed, as quoted by GoGoX.
7. The quoted price does not include miscellaneous fees such as bridge tolls, tunnel tolls and parking fees. You agree to pay the GoGoX Moving Services operator the actual costs incurred.
8. You must pay the deposit or the full amount on the date and time as specified in the relevant quotation to confirm the GoGoX Moving Services. All amounts paid are non-refundable. Upon payment, you are deemed to have accepted the quotation and it shall constitute a binding service agreement between GoGoX and you.
9. GoGoX will use reasonable efforts to provide GoGoX Moving Services according to the timelines requested in the quotation; however, the timeline is only considered as an estimate and does not form a binding obligation of the quotation. GoGoX shall be exempt from all liabilities in case GoGoX is unable to fulfill the requested timelines.

10. In the event that any circumstances not included or anticipated in the quotation are discovered on the day of the move, you agree to negotiate with the representative of the GoGoX Moving Services operator for additional charges. The final charges shall be based on the price agreed upon by both parties at the time of the move.
Liability and compensation
11. GoGoX will compensate you for any damage or loss of the items being moved if it was caused by GoGoX’s negligence during the move. The maximum compensation pursuant to our cargo compensation promise is HK$2,000, which are subject to terms and conditions available here: https://www.gogox.com/compensation/. Any such claims must be submitted within 48 hours after completion of the GoGoX Moving Services with supporting evidence. In case of any disputes, GoGoX reserves the right of final decision. You must purchase your own insurance if you require insurance coverage.

12. If you choose to accompany your items in the vehicle assigned for the GoGoX Moving Services, you agree and acknowledge that (a) you should only accompany your items in a lawful manner, including but not limited to sitting in a passenger seat with a seatbelt; and (b) GoGoX does not warrant and will not accept any liability in connection with any loss, personal injury or death that arise. Any such claim arising from the relevant loss, injury or death must be handled directly between you and the GoGoX Moving Services operator, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
13. GoGoX shall not be liable for loss, damage, and/or delay to any of the items as a result of force majeure events and atmospheric conditions (such as dampness, mold, mildew, rusting, tarnishing, corrosion or gradual deterioration), unless directly linked to ingress of water due to the negligence of GoGoX.
Indemnification
14. By accepting these General Terms and by using GoGoX Moving Services, you agree that you shall defend, indemnify and hold us, our affiliates, our licensors, and each of our and their respective officers, directors, other users, employees, attorneys and agents harmless from and against any and all claims, costs, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including attorneys’ fees and costs) (except for those compensable in accordance with clause 12), arising out of or in connection with: (a) your violation or breach of any term of these General Terms or any relevant laws, whether or not referenced herein; (b) your violation of any rights of any third party, including the GoGoX Moving Services operator arranged; or (c) your use or misuse of GoGoX Moving Services.
Operational Policies
15. All paper or plastic boxes, bags, travel bags, etc. must not exceed a total weight of 25kg each, and the sum of the length, width, and height must not exceed 160cm, otherwise the standard price of each piece will be charged at double the standard rate (or as otherwise quoted by GoGoX).
16. You are required to inform GoGoX in advance if the cargo contains any fragile items and furniture.
17. You agree to:
a. handle and pack other household sundries into boxes and bags for moving (please note that the on-site GoGoX Moving Services operator will not do any packing for you), unless you requested for packing and unpacking services in advance;
b. remove all sundries from furniture (such as shoes within any shoe cabinet), otherwise the piece of furniture will be charged double the standard rate . GoGoX will not be liable and will not compensate for damages to any of the furniture caused by these sundries; and
c. count the total number of items to be transported before and after the GoGoX Moving Services. If you have any related questions (whether in relation to the total number of items to be transported or in relation to any damages), you should ask the on-site GoGoX Moving Services operator immediately. Once the on-site GoGoX Moving Services operator leaves the premises, any questions or disputes raised by you will not be accepted by GoGoX.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
18. If you wish to change the date and/or time of the GoGoX Moving Services, you must inform GoGoX at least five working days in advance of the day of the move and negotiate with GoGoX in relation to rescheduling. For the purposes of this clause, a working day means any day other than a Sunday or public holiday in Hong Kong.
19. If changes or cancellation to the GoGoX Moving Services are requested with less than 5 working days’ advance notice, GoGoX may, at its sole discretion, choose whether to accommodate such requests. GoGoX further reserves the right to forfeit any amount paid by you and charge an administrative fee of either HK$500 or 20% of the total invoice price, whichever is higher. In this case, GoGoX will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any delay in handling and/or moving the items.

20. If the confirmed GoGoX Moving Services needs to be rescheduled or canceled due to extreme weather conditions and/or other force majeure factors, GoGoX reserves the right of final decision. GoGoX will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any delay due to a force majeure event.
Complaints and dispute resolution
21. Any complaint or dispute in relation to the GoGoX Moving Services provided must be brought to our attention and GoGoX will use best efforts to find an appropriate resolution.
Privacy Protection
22. GoGoX will process personal data collected in accordance with GoGoX’s Privacy Policy available here: https://gogox.com/privacy.

Miscellaneous
23. These General Terms supersedes all prior oral or written agreements and undertakings.
24. GoGoX reserves the right to suspend, revise or change these General Terms and various arrangements, and may cancel or terminate the GoGoX Moving Services at any time without prior notice and without liability.
25. These General Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. In case of any disputes, GoGoX reserves the right of final decision.
26. In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese version and any regional language version, the Chinese version prevails.
(B) GoGoX Worldwide Relocation Services Terms and Conditions
27. The GoGoX worldwide relocation services means the moving services originating and ending in different jurisdictions as coordinated and provided by GoGoX (the GoGoX Worldwide Relocation Services). Details of the GoGoX Worldwide Relocation Services will be set out in a quotation issued to you.
28. If you request the use of GoGoX’s Worldwide Relocation Services, the additional terms set out below apply to you in addition to Part (A) of the General Terms above. In case of conflict, specific terms in Part (B) of the General Terms regarding GoGoX’s Worldwide Relocation Services shall prevail over the terms set out in Part (A) of the General Terms.
Quotation
29. All prices quoted are for reference only and do not constitute a binding offer or agreement. Prices quoted are estimates only and subject to adjustment based on the actual circumstances. Final charges will be calculated after the items of the shipment are packed, crated, and palleted, and shall be based on the (a) actual gross volume; or (b) actual volumetric weight, whichever is higher.
Liability and compensation
30. GoGoX is not liable for any potential damage to items resulting from customs inspections or the failure to use designated carton boxes for packing.
31. GoGoX’s compensation limit for damage or loss of items for GoGoX’s Worldwide Relocation Services shall not exceed 10% of the total invoice amount or HK$1,500, whichever is lower. You must purchase your own insurance if you require insurance coverage.GoGoXGoGoX
32. Claims for compensation must be submitted within 7 days after completion of the GoGoX Worldwide Relocation Services at the destination jurisdiction with relevant evidence, otherwise you may not receive any compensation.
33. GoGoX is not liable for claims for compensation where insurance coverage is available. In case of any disputes, GoGoX reserves the right of final decision.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
34. If you wish to change the date and/or time of the GoGoX Worldwide Relocation Services, you must inform GoGoX at least two working days in advance of the day of move and negotiate with GoGoX in relation to rescheduling. For the purposes of this clause, a working day refers to any day other than a Sunday or public holiday in Hong Kong.
35. If changes or cancellation to the GoGoX Worldwide Relocation Services are requested with less than 2 working days’ notice, GoGoX may, at its sole discretion, choose whether to accommodate such requests.
