At GoGoX, many of our driver-partners are fathers. They’re out on the road day after day to build something better for their families—a stable future, a good education for their kids, and a bit more comfort at home.
And like only dads can, they fill their homes with the kind of jokes that are so bad, they’re somehow good. The kind that make you roll your eyes—but also smile. Lame? Maybe. But always full of heart.
A campaign built on love… and bad jokes
This Father’s Day, we wanted to say thank you to the dads in our driver community in a fun way.
We asked them to share their best dad jokes—the ones they tell at the dinner table, while stuck in traffic, or over a cup of coffee with family and friends.
Phase 1: The joke begins
In just two days, over 50 drivers sent in their entries.
Some were scribbled down on the spot. Others were clearly thought through. Every single one was a reflection of their warmth, their humour, and their pride as fathers.
“My son and daughter always say I tell lame jokes. Finally, I get to share them with the world!”

The first 100 valid submissions received credits in their GoGoX wallet. Five of the most memorable jokes were awarded HK$500—and a chance to appear in our Father’s Day Reel.
Phase 2: A Reel moment for our dads
Our five winners were invited to film short, POV-style videos reading their jokes on cue cards. Nothing fancy. Just their words, their voices, and their natural charm.
Some came prepared with handwritten notes. Others rehearsed in advance. Every one of them brought sincerity, humour, and heart to the shoot.

More than just content, these shoots captured the personality of the people behind the wheel.
And they absolutely nailed it.
Phase 3: Jokes that travel far
We’re now sharing the Reel on Instagram and Facebook in the lead-up to Father’s Day.
Short, funny, and full of warmth—it reminds us that behind every delivery is a person.
And sometimes, that person is a dad who’s doing his best to bring joy to others.
